Ethnocultural complex "Ymai"

The complex appeared on the site of the Stele of the Orkhon-Yenisei script, which is considered a significant historical monument of the ancient runic script of the Turks. Now the Stele is kept in the Minusinsk Museum, while its life-size model is installed in the ethnocultural complex. Also, the observation deck of the complex opens a view of the Yenisei and the sacred mountain, where, as the Khakass legends run, the goddess Umai, the patroness of the entire female family, lives. At the moment, the Ethnocultural Complex "Ymai" presents the exposition "Khakass Yurt", demonstrating ethnographic objects of the Khakass people: dishes, clothes, shoes, hunting and fishing tackle, horse equipment, etc. and the exposition "The Russian Upper Room", which introduces traditions and the everyday life of the Russian people.
